The Aldine Branch Library is proud to partner with the Aldine Independent School District to offer a special series of Literacy and Art programs. On September 24th, October 29th, and November 12th, 2016, the Aldine Curriculum & Instruction Department will be on site to read, facilitate, and monitor the programs from 10:30 AM-11:30 PM. On each date, children can come to the Aldine Library hear about the adventures of Tacky the Penguin, The Day the Crayons Quit, or Charlie Piechart. After the reading, kids will participate in an art-making activity inspired by the book. A number of children will receive their very own copy of the chosen book of the day for their personal libraries.
